Performance
It is a highly sensitive and reliable GPS receiver. Using TomTom’s Enhanced Positioning Technology provides for a more continuous navigation experience, even in circumstances where there may not be a direct line-of-sight connection to a satellite (for example, when driving in a city with tall buildings, underpasses or bridges.) The inclusion of a RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver in the GO 920T differentiates it from the GO 920. The RDS-TMC comes with a one year free traffic subscription which allows for calculating alternative routes around traffic congestion by using real time traffic data.
