Nixon Trooper Headphones

I was looking for some new headphones and came across this really good looking pair made by a company called Nixon. I didn’t want to buy those in-ear headphones because they were kind of difficult to keep in my ear. I also didn’t want to buy those expensive studio headphones because I don’t need anything that fancy or heavy.

So I ended up grabbing a pair of these Nixon Trooper Headphones on Amazon for 50 bucks. Here’s my review..

The sound output on them is really good. You’ll be hard pressed to find better non-studio headphones than these as far as the sound quality goes. Something else I enjoyed was that they fold in half for easy storage. Wearing them is comfortable due to the ear cushions being made of custom molded silicone.

Another feature to mention is that you can disconnect the cord from the earpiece. I don’t know why that would be useful just yet, but I’m sure I’ll find a use for that. Maybe while traveling you could keep the cord separate from the headphones.

The negative aspect of these headphones are that they’re made of plastic and go for around 50 bucks. For that kind of money I don’t just want a good design, I want durability as well. I want headphones I can accidentally sit on and still function.

These headphones are slick, I like the bicolored ones, blue/black combination.
